Save the date for our annual gathering, recognizing the members of the Queens judiciary, QCBA's past presidents and those members that have been admitted to the bar for 50 years.  In addition, we will present our annual Court Appreciation Award and our Academy of Law Award, two of the highest honors we bestow.  The 2026 recipient of the Academy of Law Award is Hon. Valerie Brathwaite-Nelson, Associate Justice of the Appellate Division, Second Department and co-chair of QCBA Appellate Practice Committee,

The Queens County Bar Association

 

has provided dedicated service to the legal profession and the community of Queens, New York for more than 148 years. Founded in 1876, the QCBA boasts more than 1,500 members joining together for a common purpose. They include many distinguished members of the bench and bar.

With more than 60 active committees, the Queens County Bar Association is concerned with a wide variety of legal areas and service to the public. This is evident in our mission.
