Small Claims Arbitrator Training

This program prepares and certifies attorneys to become pro-bono arbitrators in the Small Claims Parts of the New York City Civil Court in all five boroughs.  Participants must have been admitted to the New York State Bar for a minimum of five years in order to be eligible to serve as arbitrators. Attorneys employed by the Court may sit if they have been admitted to the Bar for two years and have one year of court employment.

This program is NOT appropriate for newly admitted attorneys.
