The Queens County Bar Association operates a Lawyer Referral Service where a prospective client may obtain an attorney.

The attorney will charge $35 for up to one-half hour of the initial consultation. Any fees beyond the one-half hour are arranged between the client and attorney.  Consultation fee is not charged for referrals to a Worker’s Compensation or Social Security Disability attorney.

Referrals are not given according to race, sex, location or religion.

Because of the small number of attorneys on the referral panel, we are limited to refer only one attorney, unless that attorney is on vacation or denies the case.

All information given will be treated as confidential communications and will be kept in strict confidence.
